My Ideas for Techno 1

FAST FOOD

“M-Table” – the customers won’t have to fall in line to order food. The foods available will be displayed on a flat screen-like table and just press what you want to order. This high tech table also shows the total cost of the food you want to order and for the health-conscious people, it could also display the cholesterol and calorie count. Just wait a few seconds and a waiter will serve your order.

“D-Table” – it is table with a high tech dispenser under it. There are set of buttons (or maybe a voice command) assigned for each of these: gravy, catsup, water, soft drinks, ice, paper napkin and take-out bags. With this, a customer won’t bother standing up or calling a waiter just to get the said items.

Burger Vendo – this vendo machine lets you design your own burger. The ingredients available and its cost are shown on a touch-screen pad. Just drag and drop the ingredients that you want for your burger. You can use cash or credit card for the payment.

HOTEL

ATA (Automatic Temperature Adjuster) – with this device, the room will automatically adjust the room temperature and the water in the shower based on your body temperature.

Phone Key – it is a device that makes your phone the key for your hotel room. You could also use your phone to check if the door or windows are locked, or check the lights or other electrical appliances such as TV or air conditioner are on (you could turn them off by using the phone as well).

Voice Recognition – feel like Tony Stark with this device. You can use it o turn on the lights, air conditioner, TV and the shower by just saying some key words. You also use it to order food and ask for room service.

DAVAO

Biometric Payment – you could register your finger print or your eyes like a credit card to pay items or services. Aside for being very convenient, it will also end the credit card scams.

SOS device – a small gadget that is connected to your smartphone thru Bluetooth that when is pressed or detects a chemical that makes you feel drowsy (intended for the new modus n taxis) your smartphone will contact 911 and also shows your GPS location.

Phone Detector – study shows that even your phone is in hands-free mode, it is still dangerous [1]. So this device is connected to the car and your smart phone. The car slows down when you’re making/answer a call or texting.

FTS Second Meeting

June 13, 2014, mao ni among ikaduhang meeting. Sa 506 pa jud tapos alas dos sa hapon. Init kaayo tas musaka sa taas, Friday the 13th jud. So pag-abot nako sa taas, trapo ug singot, then sulod dayon kay murag hapit na pud ko malate. Pinapirma dayon ko sa attendance sheet niya lingkod dayon duol sa ceiling fan aron mabawasan ang kaigang. Ang gidiscuss about sa meeting kay kung unsa nga pagbooking sa ticket among buhaton. Sa tinuod lng wa judd kaayo ko kasabot ato pero nagkasinabot man ang kadaghanan sa amo so mu sabay2x lang ko sa ilaha hehe. Then mao na to paghuman kay gihatag na among COR ug mga resibo na ilang gikuha atong enrollment day tapos nangolekta pud silag piso. Mao lng to :)

FTS 1st Meeting

June 9, 2014, mao ni ang first meeting namo para sa FTS. ICLab 2 ang venue hapit pa jud ko malate. Excited ko pero medyo upset. Excited ko kay maka "educational laag" ko with my friends. Ganahan jud baya ko mag laag2x ug layo maski na dagaton ko XD. Pero upset ko gamay kay basig di ko kaapil. mahal man gud basig dili ko kabayad ba tsk. About atong meeting, basta ang gidiscuss man ato kay ang mga date bayronon, mga buhatonon ug ang mga lugar na among maadtohan. Tapos paghuman sa meeting kay gipaadto mi sa clinic para mkakuha ang medical certificate.

Techno 1: First Day Meeting

Mr. Gamboa as expected, told us immediately what are we going to do in our prelim. We will form a group maximum of three members and we are going to present an idea. And that the same group will be going to business establishments such as malls, fast food restaurants or hotels, schools and have a little tour here in Davao City. Based on what we will observe during the tour, we will create an idea that will improve the service or processes that is done by the establishment.
